Detailed Description

This comic retains the front cover, back cover, centerfold, and all photographed interior pages. Overall presentation is strong, with the front cover exhibiting high retained gloss and vivid color saturation. Interior pages are complete and readable with consistent agerelated toning. The spine remains continuous and straight. Condition issues are limited and localized. The front cover shows paper loss at the bottom front corner, visible as a small detached area exposing underlying paper layers. Both staples are present and embedded; one staple shows pronounced rust and surrounding paper discoloration, while the other appears cleaner with only light oxidation. Interior pages show uniform toning without isolated staining, and there is no evidence of brittleness from the flex test. As the first issue of Volume 21, this issue marks the opening of a new publishing year for Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories and is commonly noted by collectors as a volume anchor point.
