This comic retains the front cover, back cover, centerfold, and all photographed interior pages. Overall visual presentation is strong, with the front cover exhibiting vivid color saturation and retained surface gloss, and the interior pages displaying clear artwork with consistent agerelated toning. The spine remains straight and continuous in alignment when viewed externally. The most significant condition issues are concentrated at the binding and staple regions. Along the spine edge at the staple zones, substantial paper loss and fraying are visible, exposing underlying paper layers. This damage affects both the exterior cover and multiple interior pages adjacent to the binding, with irregular tearing and material loss extending several millimeters into the page margins. Away from the staple areas, no long spine splits or generalized cracking are visible. Examination of the centerfold shows enlarged, irregular openings at both staple locations, with torn fibers and layered paper separation. From the centerfold and staple macro images, metal staple presence cannot be visually confirmed at either location, and the surrounding paper damage is extensive. The binding is therefore structurally compromised at these points despite the overall straight alignment of the spine. Interior pages remain complete and readable, but multiple pages show bindingadjacent tearing and paper loss near the inner margins. This damage is localized to the gutter areas and does not extend into the printed panels. Outside of these areas, the pages show only minor handling wear such as small corner bends. The back cover remains intact and flat, with uniform age toning and light edge wear, and no visible staining, paper distortion, or material loss. The brittleness test image shows a single interior page lifted above the others, bending with a smooth, shallow arc and no visible fiber fracture on the lifted page; visible damage on underlying pages is excluded from the brittleness determination.
